Job summary

HealthHub, part of Al-Futtaim Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre for its Day Surgery Centre at Dubai Festival City, UAE. The role supports perioperative care before, during, and after procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams to uphold patient safety and surgical standards.

Qualifications

• BSN or recognised equivalent nursing qualification.
• DHA Registered Nurse licence.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Theatre experience.
• Experience as scrub and/or circulating nurse.
• Experience in acute-care hospital, surgical centre, or day surgery facility.
• Good knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.
• Strong infection prevention and patient-safety procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with EMR and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating theatres, instruments, equipment, and consumables.
• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties as required.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Complete patient assessments and clinical documentation.
• Monitor patients throughout perioperative process.
• Follow surgical safety checklists and protocols.
• Assist with theatre stock, supplies, and equipment management.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement.
