Job description

NNC is looking for a Performance Marketer who can turn advertising investment into measurable results through strategic planning, hands-on media buying, data analysis and continuous optimisation.

This role goes beyond launching advertisements. We are looking for someone who understands the full performance journey, from audience targeting and creative development to landing pages, tracking, conversions and reporting.

You will manage paid campaigns across NNC's client portfolio, including major events, government entities, cultural institutions and consumer-facing campaigns.

You should be able to independently manage advertising platforms, diagnose performance issues, identify growth opportunities and make recommendations supported by data.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Strategy & Media Planning
  • Develop paid media strategies aligned with client objectives, target audiences and measurable outcomes.
  • Translate briefs into campaign plans, KPIs, channel strategies, budgets and forecasts.
  • Plan full-funnel campaigns covering awareness, consideration, lead generation, conversion and remarketing.
  • Research audience behaviour, competitors and market opportunities to inform targeting and media allocation.
  • Develop media plans for events, launches, registrations, applications and ongoing campaigns.
2. Paid Media Buying & Optimisation
  • Independently manage campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat and other relevant platforms.
  • Set up and optimise targeting, bidding, placements, budgets and creative variations.
  • Manage awareness, traffic, video, lead-generation and conversion campaigns across multiple client accounts.
  • Monitor spending, delivery and performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Analyse CPM, CPC, CTR, CPL, CPA, ROAS, reach, frequency and conversion rates.
  • Diagnose underperformance across audiences, creative, bidding, placements and conversion journeys.
  • Conduct structured A/B testing and identify opportunities to scale, restructure or reduce spending.
  • Troubleshoot account issues, disapprovals and delivery limitations.
3. Tracking, Analytics & Attribution
  • Implement and validate tracking through GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversions API and Google Ads.
  • Define and monitor conversion events across websites, landing pages, forms and registration journeys.
  • Maintain accurate UTM structures and campaign measurement frameworks.
  • Work with Development and CRM teams to resolve tracking discrepancies.
  • Understand attribution limitations and distinguish platform-reported results from verified conversions.
  • Maintain appropriate data privacy and consent practices.
4. Conversion Rate Optimisation
  • Analyse the complete user journey from advertisement to final conversion.
  • Identify friction affecting registrations, applications, enquiries, purchases and lead submissions.
  • Recommend improvements to landing pages, forms, messaging and calls to action.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Development and Creative teams to improve conversion efficiency.
  • Evaluate drop-off patterns and test improvements to user experience and campaign performance.
5. Creative Performance & Testing
  • Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, Multimedia Designers and Social Media teams to develop effective advertising creative.
  • Translate performance insights into clear, actionable creative briefs.
  • Test hooks, visuals, messaging, formats and calls to action.
  • Identify creative fatigue and recommend new concepts or approaches.
  • Explain which creative elements work, for which audiences, and why.
  • Contribute to performance-led creative development from the planning stage.
6. Events & High-Volume Campaigns
  • Plan and manage paid campaigns for major events, conferences, exhibitions and cultural programmes.
  • Develop strategies for ticket sales, registrations, applications and high-volume lead generation.
  • Allocate media investment around campaign phases, event dates and conversion deadlines.
  • Monitor cost per registration, application, qualified lead or ticket purchase.
  • Coordinate with website, ticketing, CRM and technical teams to validate conversion journeys.
  • Adjust campaigns based on audience demand, available capacity and operational requirements.
  • Implement remarketing and conversion-recovery campaigns where appropriate.
7. Reporting, Budgets & Client Communication
  • Prepare accurate reports and dashboards using Looker Studio, GA4 and advertising-platform data.
  • Explain campaign results against objectives, budgets and business outcomes.
  • Identify performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Distinguish verified findings from assumptions and hypotheses.
  • Manage approved budgets, spending forecasts and media allocations.
  • Recommend budget adjustments based on performance and campaign priorities.
  • Support Account Managers in client reviews and planning discussions.
  • Present clear recommendations rather than simply reporting numbers.
8. AI, Automation & Campaign Ownership
  • Use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and comparable AI tools for research, analysis, reporting and productivity.
  • Apply AI to explore audience insights, performance patterns and testing hypotheses.
  • Work confidently with automated advertising solutions such as Meta Advantage+ and Google Performance Max.
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated insights and automated recommendations against actual campaign data.
  • Explore opportunities for reporting and workflow automation while protecting confidential client information.
  • Own campaigns from planning and launch through optimisation and final reporting.
  • Coordinate with Growth, Creative, Social Media, Account Management and Development teams.
  • Anticipate risks, communicate dependencies and resolve campaign issues proactively.
What We're Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media buying or digital advertising.
  • Proven experience independently managing campaigns with measurable performance objectives.
  • Strong expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Experience with TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat or other relevant advertising platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts, preferably within a creative, digital or integrated communications agency.
  • Strong understanding of targeting, bidding, campaign structures and optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Conversions API and conversion tracking.
  • Experience with lead generation, conversion campaigns and funnel optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of advertising metrics, attribution and conversion quality.
  • Ability to analyse performance and make independent optimisation decisions.
  • Experience with creative testing and performance-led campaign development.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to manage advertising budgets responsibly.
  • Strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Professional English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis and marketing automation.
Strong Advantages
  • Experience managing UAE or GCC campaigns.
  • Experience with government or semi-government clients.
  • Experience with large-scale events, ticketing and registrations.
  • Experience managing substantial advertising budgets.
  • Arabic proficiency.
  • Experience with CRM integrations, offline conversions and lead-quality reporting.
  • Knowledge of server-side tracking, first-party data and advanced reporting.
  • Google Ads, Meta or other relevant certifications.
What Success Looks Like

You don't start with the advertising platform. You start with the client's objective.

You understand the difference between impressions, engagement, leads and meaningful business outcomes.

You don't consider a campaign successful because it generated cheap leads if those leads are not qualified.

You know when to scale, when to test and when to stop.

You can identify whether a campaign is struggling because of its audience, creative, landing page, tracking or conversion process.

You don't rely blindly on platform-reported results. You verify performance against actual outcomes.

You turn performance data into specific creative recommendations rather than simply requesting more advertisements.

You understand how advertising, creative, technology and the user journey work together.

You manage budgets responsibly and identify inefficient spending early.

You use AI and automation to improve decisions, not replace your judgment.

You don't send reports full of metrics without explaining what they mean.

You can tell an Account Manager or client what happened, why it may have happened, what remains uncertain and what should happen next.

You anticipate problems rather than discovering them after the campaign ends.

Clients trust your recommendations. Creative teams understand your feedback. Account Managers can rely on your numbers. And every campaign becomes smarter because of your involvement.
