Job summary

ADIB – Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Payroll Associate - CRO in Abu Dhabi to manage staff payroll processes, ensure financial accuracy, and uphold regulatory compliance. The role focuses on payroll transactions, overtime entry, and related financial reporting.

Fresh UAE National graduates are eligible to apply. The position requires adherence to KYC/CB guidelines, strong control processes, and collaboration with the staff management team to drive efficiency and accuracy in monthly payroll

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of ADIB’s Retail Banking products and services.
• Thorough knowledge of ADIB’s Retail Credit & Operational Policies.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries related to staff accounts.
• Opening and closing of staff accounts; observe KYC policies and CB instructions.
• Maintain finance files; prepare finance applications; obtain approvals and input data in the system.
• Manage subordinates; plan their training and appraisal.
• Enter payroll transactions.
• Calculate and enter overtime transactions.
• Prepare payment memos/invoices.
• Prepare advance leave salary and update advance reports.
• Assist in preparation of JVs/GLs and reports.

Managing products and service function to ensure the delivery of quality service to Staff, while projecting the warm image of ADIB, maintenance of operational controls and continuous improvement in financial services and operational service efficiency.

Role: Payroll Associate - CRO

Location: Abu Dhabi

This position is for fresh graduates UAE Nationals only.

Role purpose:

Managing products and service function to ensure the delivery of quality service to Staff, while projecting the warm image of ADIB, maintenance of operational controls and continuous improvement in financial services and operational service efficiency.

Key accountabilities of the role:

Responsibilities:

1. Account documentation:

• Handle inquiries related to staff accounts.

• Opening and closing of staff accounts, ensure proper completion of forms, observe KYC policies and CB instructions.

2. Finance account documentation:

• Handle inquiries related to finance and covered cards, proper maintenance of customer files, prepare finance applications and obtain necessary approvals, input of data in the system, ensure proper completion of forms.

3. Staff Management and coordination:

• Management of subordinates, planning their training and appraisal.

• 4. Perform other tasks specified by Management.
• 5. Enter payroll transactions.
• 6. Calculate & enter overtime transactions.
• 7. Prepare various payment memos/invoices.
• 8. Prepare advance leave salary and prepare/update advance reports.
• 9. Assist in preparation of JVs/GLs reports/entries.

Results required:

• Continuous Improvement: Assist CRM to Recommend workflow changes leading to process improvements to the branch manager at least once a year

• Internal Audit & ICD Comments - Provide support in preparing detailed responses to internal audit and ICD comments relating financial products and financial staff services.

• Compliance of policies & procedures: Comply and perform key operational controls as required in ADIB’s policies & procedures in day-to-day operations.

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:

• Thorough knowledge of ADIB’s Retail Credit & Operational Policies & Procedures
