Job summary

Bureau Veritas do Brasil is seeking qualified personnel to perform Advanced NDT inspections on-site in the UAE. The role requires strict adherence to safety and procedural guidelines, with a focus on accurate data interpretation and timely reporting of inspection results.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with tube and tank inspections, proficiency with NDT equipment, and the ability to produce clear final reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with Advanced NDT techniques (e.g., Tube Inspection, Tank Floor inspection).
• Ability to interpret data and avoid false calls in inspections.
• Prepare final inspection reports per procedural requirements.

Responsibilities

• To take all precautions to protect the environment.
• Work to ensure self-safety and co-workers safety at all times.
• Attend internal and required training programs as directed by management.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and follow site coordinators' instructions.
• Use and maintain safety devices provided for job execution.
• Maintain and properly use all tools under their control and select the right tools for the job.
• Assist fellow employees in safety attitudes and requirements.
• Report for work in appropriate clothing, avoiding hazards from clothing/jewelry.
• Perform work safely and remain alert to unseen dangers or situations.
• Do not sacrifice safety for duties.
• Keep work area clean and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform Advanced NDT tasks (tube inspection, tank floor inspection, long/short-range guided wave) per approved procedures.
• List required probes and accessories according to scope and application, for various NDT techniques.
• Interpret data without false calls.
• Prepare final inspection reports as per procedures.
• Carry out inspection activities per project scope and site conditions to avoid delays and waste.
• Troubleshoot and address issues in Advanced NDT equipment.

Job Description:

• To take all precautions to protect the environment
• Work in such manner as to ensure self-safety as well as that of co-workers safety in well covered with.
• Avail themselves of company internal and any other required training programs as and when required by the management
• Shall participate in the daily toolbox talks and follow the instruction from the site coordinators/crew leaders
• Use and maintain all safety devices provided for executions of job as delegated.
• Maintain and properly use all tools under their control & to use right tools for the Job.
• Provide fellow employees help with safety attitudes and its requirements.
• Report for work in clothing suitable for work, and in such a manner that clothes and jewelry worn will not constitute a hazard.
• Perform the work in a safe and alert manner, and be aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.
• Are not expected to sacrifice their own or other’s Safety to perform their duties.
• Keep clean work Area & maintain Housekeeping.
• Perform Advanced NDT jobs like (Tube Inspection, Tank Floor inspection, Long and Short-range Guided wave applications etc.) in liase with approved procedural requirements.
• Able to list out the required probes and accessories according to the type of scope and application for various Advanced NDT Techniques.
• Able to interpret the data without giving false calls.
• Prepare final inspection reports as per the approved procedural requirements.
• Able to perform the inspection activities as per project scope and site condition to avoid waiting & wastage of resources.
• Able to interpret the trouble shooting methods to avoid the maintenance on the Advanced NDT equipment’s.
• Able to troubleshoot the problems occur in all Advanced NDT equipment’s.
