Job summary

M42 Health in Abu Dhabi seeks a Guest Services Officer to manage pre-registration, registration, scheduling, and billing, ensuring DOH/JCI compliance and patient satisfaction. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families, handle insurance eligibility, and collect payments with accurate cash handling.

This frontline role requires empathy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to support a seamless patient experience across hospital service areas and escalation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of similar experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Strong attention to details and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in experience.
• Accurately register patients and capture demographic and insurance details into the EMR.
• Verify insurance eligibility, patient identity, and out-of-pocket responsibilities for billing.
• Obtain required signatures and ensure patients understand their rights and next steps.
• Schedule appointments, make reminder calls, and support discharge coordination and follow-ups.
• Act as liaison between patients, families and clinical teams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Handle payments (co-pays, deductibles) and cash handling procedures.
• Handle inquiries and patient feedback with empathy and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
• Support department meetings, training, and adherence to quality and patient satisfaction standards.
