Ecojob in Abu-Dhabi, UAE is seeking a passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. The role offers a monthly salary of 1,700 AED and relocation assistance for the right candidate.

No prior experience is required as we are ready to train the right person. You will bake and decorate cakes and pastries, maintain safety and cleanliness, and assist with menu ideas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills to keep track of multiple orders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for use in baking pastries.
• Bake a wide variety of pastries including pies, cakes, cookies, and desserts.
• Decorate cakes and desserts with fresh fruits, chocolate, cream cheese, and nuts.
• Create recipes or adapt existing ones to develop original desserts.
• Ensure food safety guidelines are followed in all preparations.

• Use recipes or create new original desserts from scratch
• Ensure that all food safety guidelines are being followed when preparing meals and snacks
• Monitor quality of ingredients used in baking process to ensure freshness
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area at all times
• Assist with menu development as needed.
