Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, seeks an enthusiastic Chef de Partie - Pastry to lead pastry operations with excellence and innovation. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, you will guide pastry production, ensure top quality, and maintain rigorous hygiene standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of pastry and baking experience in luxury hotel or fine dining.
Mastery of pastry techniques, decorating and plating.
Fluent English in verbal and written communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily preparation and execution of all pastry items per recipes, standards and quality specifications.
Lead and mentor pastry team, ensuring adherence to food safety and presentation standards.
Develop and implement creative pastry concepts and menu items with the Executive Pastry Chef.
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, allergens, and dietary requirements for informed guest service.
Manage inventory rotation and stock levels to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
