Job summary

Woopel in Abu-Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Pastry Chef to lead the production of desserts and pastries in our kitchens, including prep, doughs, shaping and baking, with a focus on quality and presentation.

You will work with the team to ensure all orders are met on time, maintain cleanliness, follow safety regulations, and contribute to new recipe development. At least 1 year of pastry experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, decorations, doughs, batters etc.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens etc.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• The Pastry Chef will lead production of desserts and pastries, including prep, doughs, shaping and baking.
• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Develop new recipes and collaborate with the team to meet orders on time.
