Job summary

FIVE Hotels & Resorts Dubai is seeking a motivated Commis 1 or similar for our luxury kitchen during pre-opening and busy service periods. You will help craft sensational dining experiences aligned with FIVE's Award-Winning Service Quality.

A Culinary Degree or equivalent is preferred. You will apply strong time management, HACCP knowledge, and teamwork to prepare hand-crafted dishes, manage ingredients, and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen that supports timely service and evolving menus.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Commis 1 or similar in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
• Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.
• Pre-opening kitchen experience is advantageous.
• Strong time management and multitasking; positive attitude under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with the culinary team.
• HACCP and health & safety knowledge.
• Experience in creating Five-styled menus and hand-crafted dishes.
• Proficient ingredient procurement and handling.
• Maintains a hygienic, organized kitchen following sanitation standards.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.
