The Parent Relation Executive will act as a key connection point between parents, school staff, senior leadership, and the wider school community. The role supports the smooth delivery of parent services, reception operations, school tours, communication channels, feedback handling, complaints coordination, parent events, and re-enrolment communication. By maintaining professional, timely, and warm communication, the position helps strengthen parent trust, improve the school experience, and support long-term student retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome prospective and existing parents to the school and provide clear, professional support for initial enquiries.
- Manage reception and front-of-house operations to ensure a positive first impression and high-quality customer service.
- Serve as a central point of contact between parents, school staff, leadership teams, and administrative departments.
- Monitor parent communication through phone calls, emails, School Voice, newsletters, and other official channels.
- Respond to parent queries within agreed timelines and ensure issues are followed up with the relevant school teams.
- Coordinate with senior leadership, pastoral teams, and operations staff to resolve parent concerns and complaints.
- Support ADEK complaint handling by ensuring proper escalation, documentation, and timely closure of parent issues.
- Maintain open communication with existing parents throughout the academic year to support engagement and satisfaction.
- Arrange school tours for prospective families and help present the school environment in a professional manner.
- Work with the school Principal and leadership team by sharing weekly parent feedback reports and service updates.
- Organize parent and community events that encourage family participation in school life, celebrations, and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with Parent Council members, Parent Ambassadors, and other parent bodies to strengthen community relationships.
- Support re-enrolment communication and contribute to parent retention initiatives.
- Work with the HQ Marketing team on enquiry generation, parent engagement activities, and school communication campaigns.
- Manage and improve communication tools such as newsletters and parent updates to keep families informed about school activities.
- Undertake surveys and feedback exercises to understand parent views on enrolment, school services, and communication quality.
- Supervise front-of-house staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure the reception area is organized, staffed, and professional at all times.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding expectations, UAE regulations, and Aldar Education's customer service standards.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar parent relations, customer service, front office, or school administration role.
- Previous experience in the education sector is preferred.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to handle parent enquiries professionally and calmly.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Arabic language fluency is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural school environment.
- Excellent office management, administration, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good computer literacy and confidence using school communication platforms, email, reporting tools, and office systems.
- Ability to manage sensitive conversations, complaints, and parent feedback with confidentiality and tact.
- Well-organized, service-minded, and able to manage multiple communication channels at the same time.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and commitment to representing the school with warmth and credibility.
