Job summary

Spyro Soft is seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Technical Consultant to join a multinational delivery team supporting Europe and the GCC. You will design, implement, and support Oracle RAP solutions (MFP, AP, IPO, LPO) and collaborate with business consultants, IT teams, and stakeholders across regions.

You will translate business requirements into technical data mappings, optimize batch workflows, ensure data quality, and contribute to go-live and hyper-care support.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Retail Technical Consultant, Developer, or Integration Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support technical components of Oracle Retail RAP implementations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze Oracle Retail data models and translate business requirements into technical solutions and data mappings.
  • Configure, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot daily and ad hoc batch jobs and processing workflows.
  • Develop, maintain, and support integrations between Oracle Retail RAP and connected business systems.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and analysis to ensure planning data accuracy and consistency.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues across source systems, interfaces, and RAP environments.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize batch processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and support handover materials.
  • Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Provide post-go-live support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Oracle Retail environments.

Project description:

Join an international delivery team supporting leading retail organizations across Europe and the GCC region. In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of next-generation Oracle Retail Planning & Optimization solutions, helping clients transform their planning processes through modern technologies and data-driven decision-making.

You will work closely with business consultants, project managers, client IT teams, and Oracle Retail stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions. The position offers opportunities to participate in full project lifecycles, from solution design and implementation through go-live and hyper-care support.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Retail Technical Consultant, Developer, or Integration Specialist

  • Hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Retail RAP solutions, including at least one of the following modules: MFP, AP, IPO, or LPO

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Retail data models and planning data structures

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, data mappings, and solution designs

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Retail batch job architecture, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting

  • Practical experience in data validation, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and resolving data quality issues

  • Experience developing and supporting integrations between Oracle Retail and surrounding retail systems

  • Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and development

  • Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize batch processing workflows

  • Experience working directly with international retail clients and cross-functional project teams

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business and IT stakeholders

  • Fluent spoken and written English

Nice to have:
  • Experience with Oracle APEX development

  • Experience with Oracle Retail AI Foundation Cloud Services (AIFCS)

  • Knowledge of retail planning and merchandise planning processes

  • Experience with cloud-based Oracle Retail solutions

  • Exposure to large-scale retail transformation programs

  • Experience across multiple Oracle RAP modules

  • Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
