Job summary

ECS ME in Dubai seeks an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with 5+ years in implementing retail store and inventory systems, focusing on Oracle Retail Xstore and SIOCS. You will act as SME across projects and support initiatives and coordinate system integrations.

The role requires hands-on SIT/UAT, go-live support, and strong documentation skills to ensure smooth delivery with business users and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Must have strong functional knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore (POS) including flows, tenders, promotions, returns and store operations.
• Must have strong functional knowledge of Oracle Retail SIOCS including inventory movements, adjustments, receiving, transfers and stock counting.
• Experience on Xstore and SIOCS integrations (inbound/outbound) with OMS, RMS, loyalty and payment providers.
• Knowledge of payment integrations and end-to-end POS transaction flows.
• Hands-on SIT and UAT testing, including scenario prep, execution and defect triage.
• Experience in store rollouts, go-live support, and hyper care.

Responsibilities

• Act as techno-functional SME for Xstore and SIOCS across projects and support initiatives.
• Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements.
• Support enhancements, feature rollouts and configuration changes in Xstore and SIOCS.
• Coordinate and support system integrations between POS, inventory and other retail systems.
• Prepare and execute SIT and UAT test scenarios and manage defects with technical teams.
• Support production issues, perform functional analysis and coordinate resolution.
• Assist in release validation and post-deployment support.
• Work with business users, product teams and tech teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows and interface validation docs.
• Be a self-starter, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple parallel workstreams.

• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore (Fixed POS and Mobile POS) including POS flows, tenders, promotions, returns, and store operations
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Retail SIOCS, including inventory movements, adjustments, receiving, transfers, and stock counting processes
• Experience working on Xstore and SIOCS integrations (inbound and outbound) with systems such as OMS, RMS, loyalty, and payment providers
• Knowledge of payment integrations and end-to-end POS transaction flows
• Hands-on experience in SIT and UAT cycles, including test scenario preparation, execution, and defect management
• Experience in store rollouts, go-live support, and hyper care

Good to Have

• Experience with RICS and its integration with SIOCS and RMS
• Exposure to other Oracle Retail modules such as RMS, ReSA, RPM, or OMS systems
• Experience working in integration-heavy retail environments
