Job summary

Client of Next Ventures Limited in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior SAP Merchandise Planning Retail Consultant to lead the MPO workstream within SAP CAR for a large-scale transformation.

You will design, implement and deliver best-practice merchandise planning solutions, manage partner resources and coordinate with business stakeholders, SAP teams and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering SAP Retail solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise with SAP Customer Activity Repository (SAP CAR).
• Proven experience implementing SAP Merchandise Planning Omnichannel (MPO).
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising and merchandise planning processes.
• Experience leading SAP workstreams on large-scale implementation or transformation programmes.
• Previous experience managing consulting teams and third-party delivery partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Merchandise Planning Omnichannel (MPO) workstream within SAP CAR.

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Merchandise Planning workstream.

• Collaborate with SAP Retail Supply Chain and Integration teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
• Provide functional expertise and best practice guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support testing, defect resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live activities.
• Identify delivery risks and proactively manage issues and dependencies.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Merchandise Planning Retail Lead to join a large-scale SAP Retail transformation programme. This role will lead the delivery of the SAP Merchandise Planning Omnichannel (MPO) workstream within SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) driving solution design, implementation and successful delivery. The successful consultant will act as the functional lead managing partner resources while working closely with business stakeholders, project leadership, and technical teams to deliver a best-practice merchandise planning solution.
