Job summary

AIQU in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Retail Operations & Planning Techno Functional Lead to drive SAP S/4HANA implementation across merchandising, assortment planning, purchasing, replenishment, and pricing for a major retail client in the UAE.

You will review current processes, map them to the new ERP, and lead change management in a digitally transforming Omni-Channel environment, collaborating with business and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and value realization.

We are hiring Retail Operations & Planning Techno Functional Lead to join one of our major clients based in Dubai, UAE

Job Location - Dubai, UAE

Job Type - 10 months Contract

About the role

• The Retail Operations & Planning Lead will be responsible for leading SAP S/4 Hana implementation of the merchandising, assortment planning, purchasing, replenishment, and pricing.
• This role requires a strong understanding of the business processes for a fully Omni Channel-enabled retail environment.
• One of the key responsibilities for this role is to review the existing business process, improve and map to the new ERP as part of the implementation.
• The role requires a highly motivated change leader with an interest in Digital Transformation

Years of Experience -

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within large organizations.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of IT experience in a similar role within large organizations, with a minimum of 5+ years of S/4Hana implementation or support experience
• Must have implementation experience of S/4Hana in a Retail environment having integrations with multiple in-house and external systems for multiple functions (Corporate Finance, Retail, etc.)

Required Skills-

• Must have at least 3 Implementation experience in Retail ERP -
• Responsible for implementation, support, and rollout of S/4HANA solution and CAR module.
• Should have hands-on experience in configuring all types of Pricing & Promotions, Markdown planning, Consignment, B2B & B2C sales, and order-to-cash.
• Should have experience in integrating applications like POS, Salesforce commerce, Magento, Loyalty system, and other 3rd party applications.
• Hands-on experience in classification through Site & Article Master, Merchandise & Product Hierarchy, Characteristics, Class, etc.,
• Experience in Retail and Distribution Company will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Retail industry processes across multiple business functions.
• Well-versed with Project Management principles such as Waterfall, Agile, Spiral, etc.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams and convey information to diverse stakeholders and manage change process.
• Strong technical background and ability to understand complex software functionality, design, and technical issues, to drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions in SAP.
• Strong verbal and written communication, especially in the areas of teamwork, stakeholder management, and ability to influence; ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and discussions.
• Knowledge of Retail Supply Chain Cycles, Omni omni-channel workflow, and Retail Business process.
