Qualifications

• Secondary education completed or equivalent.
• Valid license for the equipment you will operate.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience operating machines in varied conditions (day/night, wet/dry).

Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care for the safety and health of themselves and others.
• Co-operate with management to comply with safety rules and standards.
• Participate in SHEQ training and health screening when required.
• Report unsafe situations and incidents to management promptly.

Hard rock quarry incorporating crushing and screening plan /All Asphalt contracting sites / All Asphalt PlantsSHE Performance: LTIs, NLTIs, Near Hits, Task AuditsPlant Performance: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) measures for mobile plants; Site Improvement Plans, Targets and delivery; adoption of Operational Quick Wins/SOPs/Best PracticeQuality Control: meeting customers’ needs – deliveries on time; rework in workshop on mobile plant for contracting; workshop performance; product complianceKey Interfaces and RelationshipsOperations / Production managers, Systems Administrator/Sr. SHEQ Coordinators, Assistant Quarry manager, Plant Operational personnel, relevant Foreman and Supervisor, Contractors on site.

• Take reasonable care for the safety and health of themselves and others.
• Co-operate with management and front-line supervision in complying with legal requirements and company SHEQ standards, safety rules and safe systems or work.
• Take part and actively participate in SHEQ training.
• Take part in legal and company health screening when required.
• Must not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of safety, health, welfare or the environment.
• Wear all appropriate personal protective equipment as per site rules, safe systems of work, and as instructed by management or front-line supervision.
• Report all unsafe situations to management.
• Report all incidents and damage to management whether persons are injured or not.
