Job summary

ACE Management in Dubai is seeking an experienced Quarry Operations Manager to oversee all site and office activities, manage staff, coordinate production, and ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.

The role requires 6–8 years in quarrying, a Bachelor of Engineering, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and the ability to liaise with sales, mining engineers, and executives to optimize output while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations on site and in the office; manage staff and coordinate production
• Monitor site systems and ensure health and safety policies are implemented
• Liaise with sales, commercial teams and mining engineers
• Manage budget, costings and financial reporting; attend weekly operations meetings
• Regular site inspections and risk assessments to comply with health and safety regulations
• Ensure production levels are maintained safely to schedule and meet targets
• Monitor and adjust production systems to meet material requirements
• Examine produced materials to ensure high quality; check equipment and materials levels
• Maintain up-to-date records and handle paperwork; oversee vehicles and maintenance
• Coordinate output with resources and ensure budgets are not overspent

Ensure that the quarry operates successfully

Oversee all operations both on site and in the office manage staff coordinate production and monitor all site systems

Responsibilities Duties

• Knowledge of Quarry operation
• Blasting development for quarry and how to do extraction
• Earth moving equipment and processing plant experience
• Checking that the quarry s production levels are maintained safely to schedule
• Balancing sales and output
• Altering the quarry s production system in accordance with the materials required
• Liaising with sales and commercial teams
• Performance managing the production process and setting and monitoring targets
• Providing the company with information and statistics on the quarry s performance
• Managing and regulating the quarry s budget
• Maintaining up-to-date records and dealing with a range of paperwork
• Ensuring that key health and safety policies are implemented throughout the site
• Closely monitoring all areas of the quarry to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard
• Liaising with staff on site and dealing with any technical or staffing challenges that arise
• Undertaking regular site inspections and risk assessments in order to comply with all Health and safety Regulations
• Examining the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained
• Assessing equipment and production materials levels
• Ordering new items as required
• Checking that all vehicles on site are maintained to a good standard
• Coordinate with Mining Engineer to assure output from the resources
• Financial Management Implication
• Attending weekly Operations Financial and Logistics meetings and delivering feedback to the CEO while keeping him up to date on any items requiring his attention
• Costing calculations and budgeting to ensure that the company is not running at a loss and that the yearly and quarterly budgets are not overspent

Experience

• Experience - Minimum 6-8 years of required (KPIs) and Performance Expectations

Qualification
