Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a qualified Quarry Operator/Supervisor to manage machine operation on-site and uphold strict SHEQ standards. The role requires safe work practices, hazard awareness and collaboration with maintenance and site teams to deliver on-time, quality output in a challenging quarry environment.

Applicants should have a minimum 3 years of experience in quarry operations, an operation license, and knowledge of site safety rules. IOSH Working Safely training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate quarry machines in all conditions (day and night)
• Maintain safe working environment and comply with site rules
• Identify hazards and enforce road safety and quarry safety standards
• Collaborate with Workshop Supervisor, Maintenance and operations teams to ensure uptime
• Follow training requirements including Defensive Driver Training and IOSH Working Safely

• Take reasonable care for the safety and health of themselves and others.
• Co-operate with management and front-line supervision in complying with legal requirements and company SHEQ standards, safety rules and safe systems or work.
• Take part and actively participate in SHEQ training.
• Take part in legal and company health screening when required.
• Must not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of safety, health welfare or the environment.
• Wear all appropriate personal protective equipment as per site rules, safe systems of work, and as instructed by management or front-line supervision.
• Report all unsafe situations to management.
• Report all incidents and damage to management whether persons are injured or not.
