Job summary

Petrofac in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Operator I - Turnover to support database development, document control, and commissioning activities within the turnover phase of projects.

The role involves collecting drawings, maintaining revision records, managing DCN/FDCN and as-built documentation, and generating daily/weekly reports from Petro-PCS and related databases. A diploma or engineering degree with 3-4 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collection of engineering drawings from different disciplines.
• Maintaining records of latest revision of drawings.
• Maintaining records of DCN and FDCN and as-built drawings.
• Marking up drawings as per subsystem boundary.
• Population of Petro-PCS database.
• Development of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers.
• Issuing of check and test sheets as per Petro-PCS database.
• Issuing of Ready for Inspection notices.
• Entering completed check sheets to the Petro-PCS database and generating daily/weekly reports.
• Entering punch lists to the Punch List database and generating daily reports.
• Issuing of operational test procedures to commissioning team.
• Entering of completed punch items.
• Follow up of completion handover certificates.

JOB TITLE: Operator I -Turnover

Scope of Responsibilities:

Responsible for development of Petro-PCS Database. Monitoring progress through Petro-PCS, Entry of Punch list to Petro-PCS during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning period. Development and maintaining of Mechanical completion dossier. Assistance to certification engineer.

Primary Duties:

• Marking - up of drawings as per subsystem boundary.
• Population of Petro-PCS Database
• Development of Mechanical completion, Pre-commissioning and commissioning Dossiers.
• Issuing of Check and Test sheet as per Petro-PCS Database.
• Issuing of Ready for Inspection notice.
• Entering of completed check sheet to the Petro-PCS database and generation of daily/weekly Reports

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Should have good computer skill. Able to control both hard and soft documents).

• Graduate or Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in project completion system or Database management.
