AL7632 GE Middle East FZE is offering a one-year Operations Program focused on heavy duty gas turbine services. The Operations Support Engineer will handle data insights, monthly reviews, and forecasting, with AI-driven opportunities and Lean implementations across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture.

Role provides hands-on exposure, cross-functional collaboration with regional and global teams, and opportunities to deploy new processes leveraging AI to improve business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analysis, AI, Statistics, Mathematics preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and basic programming familiarity.
• Understanding of basic LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude).
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis and repositories for day-to-day reporting needs.
• Maintain daily record of outages and track changes impacting on time delivery.
• Monitor outage movements and update the daily tracker.
• Support region with installed base, outages and ERP data.
• Run reports like On Time Delivery and Critical tasks via Python scripts.
• Maintain outage level financials after outages are completed.
• Prepare communications for regional sharing.
• Collaborate with regions on demand signal accuracy and validation.
• Monitor timelines for global critical activities daily.

Job Description Summary One-year TareeGE Operations Program that focuses on operational aspects of Heavy Duty Gas Turbines services with the possibility of extension up to one more year, the Operations Support Engineer will support and progressively take ownership of multiple data insights and operational processes pertaining to Monthly Reviews and Forecasting. The role is designed to provide hands‑on exposure, AI driven opportunities, decision making support for senior leadership, and cross functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture (SQDCC). This person will work closely with experienced team members to learn the various aspects of maintaining existing processes and work on deploying new ones utilizing Lean & AI to improve how the business operates. This program provides a unique opportunity for candidates to understand the operations of a large-scale business and to improve while working with all levels of the organization both regional and global.

Job Description Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis and repositories for day-to-day reporting needs
• Maintain a daily record of all outages and track key changes impacting on time delivery
• Monitor outage movements and maintain the daily tracker for task updates
• Support the region with installed base, outages and ERP data
• Run various reports like On Time Delivery and Critical tasks python script
• Maintain the financials at outage level after outages are completed
• Prepare communications to be shared with the region
• Support with other critical processes as needed for Escalations, MOR, and SI&OP.
• Collaborate with the region on demand signal accuracy and validation
• Monitor key timelines for global critical activities on a day-to-day basis
• Ensure timely follow ups with KPI owners and drive positive results
• Collaborate and partner with functions, stakeholders, and product owners.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics and /or related backgrounds are preferred from an accredited university or college
• Proficient in Excel, Intermediate skills in Windows and other Office apps, Power BI, Basic VBA/Tableau skills or familiarity with basic programming languages
• Understanding of Basic LLMs (Chat GPT, Claude)
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• In line with the localization requirements of UAE, preference will be given to qualified UAE National talents.

Desired Characteristics / Qualifications

• Maximum 2 years of experience in data reporting and/or data analysis based role
• Understanding of Chat Agents & AI Workflows
• Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science and/or related Engineering backgrounds are preferred
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership of tasks with quality and integrity
• Proven to be a team player, keen to learn and adapt to change
• Be an agent of change in the organization for new tools & capabilities
• Demonstrated project handling and continuous improvement
• Understanding of lean concepts.
