Job summary

Amazon in Dubai seeks an Operations Lead/Supervisor to oversee shift performance at our work sites. You will be the first point of contact for the team, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and processes during your shift.

This hands-on role involves guiding staff, coordinating with other departments, and using data to drive improvements for on-time delivery and operational excellence.

A background with Office tools and flexible shift availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• high school diploma or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Being an Operations Lead/Supervisor gives you the chance to see how all the different parts of operations work and play a role in making sure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll be the first point of contact for team members during their shift and help them follow the processes that your managers have put in place. This is a hands‑on role, which will give you experience in using the tools and systems that make our operations successful.

A day in the life

As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you’ll be based in one of our operational sites. You’ll support your Shift/Area Manager to carry out the plan for the shift. That will involve helping with pre‑shift meetings with your team and monitoring procedures to make sure everyone is following safety rules, quality processes, and the priority plan for the day. You’ll elevate any issues you spot to your manager, but sometimes you’ll be the most senior person on shift and will give people the direction they need to complete their tasks.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience
• high school diploma or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Preferred Qualifications
