Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Associate Manager - Operations in Dubai to lead a customer-focused warehouse team with 10 or fewer staff on site. You will manage direct reports such as Operations Associates, Drivers, and an Administrative Coordinator, while interfacing with Sales and customer support to fulfill orders and resolve issues.

The role emphasizes KPI oversight to maintain and improve service quality, with potential responsibilities spanning budget oversight, process improvements, and coordination

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 4 years warehouse and distribution operations experience.
• 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift or obtain certification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manages warehouse staff across functional areas including training, coaching, and counseling.
• Oversees a location's operations, possibly with multiple WMS and value-added services.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and service providers on feasibility and cost analysis.
• Completes operational activities on time and informs Sales and Operations Management.
• Provides operational support for project deliveries and stakeholder coordination.
• Reviews and improves existing processes and procedures for efficiency and cost control.
• Monitors service providers and ensures invoices align with contracts and payments with AP.
• Maintains facility health, safety and environmental compliance and meets customer delivery requirements.
• Possibly manages employees in a unionized environment.
