Job summary

Wesco International in Dubai, UAE, seeks an Associate Manager - Operations to steer priorities in a customer-centered warehouse environment with a lean leadership structure. You will supervise warehouse staff, including Drivers and an Administrative Coordinator, and you will collaborate with Sales and other departments to fulfill orders and resolve issues.

You will monitor KPIs, ensure safety and budget compliance, and coordinate with 3PLs, customs brokers, and transport partners.

Qualifications

High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience managing warehouse staff and customer-focused operations.
Ability to train, coach and counsel staff; forklift capability a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills; willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Manages warehouse staff in all functional areas including training, coaching and counseling.
Oversees a location with potential multiple systems and services; interacts with Sales.
Partners with cross-functional teams and service providers on feasibility and cost analysis.
Ensures on-time operational activities and budget adherence; tracks provider performance.
Ensures Health, Safety and Environment requirements are met and coordinates with stakeholders.
