Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• PE license or certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operational engineering within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven track record of managing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with process control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of mechanical or electrical systems ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for critical equipment to extend lifespan and reduce unexpected failures.
• Interpret technical drawings schematics and blueprints to guide installation repair and modification projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production and maintenance to integrate engineering solutions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement ensuring availability of essential components for timely repairs.
• Conduct performance analysis and generate reports on equipment efficiency energy consumption and operational costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards throughout all operational activities.
• Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment verifying functionality and performance against specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization and technological upgrades.
