Job summary

Antal International L.L.C-FZ is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead mechanical engineering activities across multiple projects from concept through commissioning, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3–8 years of experience in construction/EPC environments, and hands-on design review, shop drawings, submittals, and vendor coordination. ADNOC exposure is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–8 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, EPC or project environments.
• Experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
• Strong design, review and project engineering capabilities.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, material & technical submittals and construction documentation.
• Experience supporting design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations, codes, standards, HSE and quality requirements.
• Excellent coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Leadership of engineers/draftsmen and resource planning.
• UAE/GCC project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities across multiple projects.
• Provide technical analysis and engineering solutions.
• Review drawings, submittals and documentation for compliance.
• Manage project execution from concept through commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Mentor engineers/draftsmen and allocate work.
• Support procurement, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and project budgets.
