Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to manage Ship-to-Ship transfer operations in Fujairah, UAE. The role focuses on precise planning, safety, and compliance, coordinating vessel nominations, MOORING Master assignments, and support craft mobilization.

You will liaise with vessel owners, charterers, agents, and port authorities while ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting. Strong English communication and maritime operations experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Maritime Studies, Nautical Sciences, Port Operations, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience in STS operations, port operations, tanker operations, offshore support, or agency services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate STS operation schedules, including vessel nominations, Mooring Master assignments, and support craft mobilisation.
• Prepare Joint Plans of Operation, risk assessments, and pre-transfer checklists for STS activities.
• Liaise with vessel owners, charterers, agents, and port authorities to confirm compatibility and schedules.
• Coordinate operational communications and notifications with UAE authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor certification and inspection of key STS equipment such as fenders, hoses, and mooring gear.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and quality-controlled reporting.
• Support post-operation reporting, including incident and near-miss records.
• Assist with troubleshooting and provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and compliance.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple operations
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of STS procedures, OCIMF guidelines, and industry best practices
• Familiarity with UAE maritime regulations and Fujairah operational environment
