Job summary
Al-Futtaim Health's HealthHub in Dubai is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Registered Nurse to join a modern surgical team. You will provide high-quality perioperative care and support a range of specialties in a busy day surgery environment.
Candidates should have a DHA-licensed RN, a BSN, and current BLS; ACLS is preferred. A minimum of five years in operating theatre roles is required, with a proven commitment to patient safety and teamwork.
Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent recognised qualification.
- DHA-licensed registered nurse in the UAE.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 5 years operating theatre experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care.
- Prepare operating theatres, instruments, equipment and consumables.
- Support surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures.
- Conduct patient assessments and maintain documentation.
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative journey.
- Scrub and circulate during procedures and ensure sterile fields.
- Ensure surgical safety checklist compliance.
- Maintain infection prevention standards and stock management.
- Adhere to DHA standards and participate in audits and quality activities.
