Job summary

Al-Futtaim Health is seeking an Operating Theatre Nurse in Dubai to provide high-quality perioperative care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work with surgeons, anesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and infection prevention.

Responsibilities include preparing the theatre, assisting during procedures, and ensuring documentation and compliance with DHA standards. A fast-paced environment and ongoing education are part of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
• Current DHA Registered Nurse License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in accordance with DHA and Al-Futtaim Health standards.
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and documentation throughout the perioperative journey.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery and escalate concerns promptly.
• Ensure surgical safety checklists are completed and documented.
• Manage theatre stock, equipment, and consumables efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
