Job summary

ZenaDrone Trading LLC in United Arab Emirates seeks an IT System Administrator to run internal IT for software teams and staff. You will manage identities, devices, security, backups, and IT support across time zones, ensuring reliable services and compliant practices.

The role focuses on 365/Google Workspace, Entra ID/AD, MDM, network security, and end-user support, with after-hours readiness and collaboration with engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands‑on with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace admin and Entra ID/AD.
• MDM and endpoint management for Windows and macOS (Intune, Jamf).
• Solid networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls, VPN, DNS/DHCP, Wi‑Fi.
• Experience administering common business SaaS apps and their SSO integrations.
• Good IT security practices: MFA, least privilege, patching, EDR, email security, data backup.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace: user and group management, mailboxes, shared drives, Teams, licensing, retention and security settings.
• Own identity and access management: Entra ID / Active Directory, SSO for tools, MFA enforcement, RBAC, joiner-mover-leaver reviews.
• Provision, image, and support laptops/workstations (Windows/macOS) using MDM (Intune/Jamf), including baseline configuration and encryption.
• Manage the office IT environment: firewall, switches, VPN, Wi‑Fi, printers, AV, and providers; keep it reliable and secure.
• Implement and maintain endpoint and email security: EDR/antivirus, patch management, phishing protection, device compliance, training.
• Manage backups for user data and systems; test restores.
• Run IT helpdesk: triage/resolution of tickets and maintain knowledge base.
• Maintain IT asset register and software licenses; handle procurement/renewals.
• Support onboarding/offboarding: accounts, devices, access, equipment return with HR coordination.
• Prepare IT policies (acceptable use, access control, device security) and provide audit evidence.
• Provide occasional after-hours support for urgent issues.
