Job summary

InDrive Group seeks a Financial Controller to join the M&A Accounting team in the UAE. You will own month-end close, reporting, and audit for multiple entities, aligning each with InDrive's standards and supporting integration of acquisitions.

The role requires extensive multi-entity experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and CPA/ACCA credentials. You will partner with local management, ensure SOX where applicable, and coach finance teams to enhance close quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting/controllership experience (Big 4 a plus).
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Hands-on close and multi-entity experience; M&A integration and ERP transition/integration is a plus.
• Business-minded, comfortable working with non-finance people.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and reporting for one or more acquired entities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and key journal entries.
• Partner with local management to understand the business and explain results vs. budget and forecast.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and earn-out tracking.
• Book and maintain PPA entries; provide input for valuations and technical memos.
• Handle audit requests and act as the auditors' main contact for your entities.
• Align local policies, processes and controls with corporate standards (incl. SOX where applicable).
• Coach local finance teams to improve close quality and timing.
