Job summary

inDrive UAE is seeking a Financial Controller to own close, reporting and audit across acquired entities. You will partner with local management to align results with budgets and corporate standards.

This hands-on role requires multi-entity experience, CPA/ACCA and strong US GAAP knowledge, with responsibilities spanning PPA entries, valuations input, and audit coordination within our Global M&A Accounting team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in accounting/controllership.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Hands-on close and multi-entity experience; M&A integration and ERP transition/integration is a plus.
• Business-minded, comfortable working with non-finance people.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and reporting for one or more acquired entities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and key journal entries.
• Partner with local management to understand the business and explain results vs. budget and forecast.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and earn-out tracking.
• Book and maintain PPA entries; provide input for valuations and technical memos.
• Handle audit requests and act as the auditors' main contact for your entities.
• Align local policies, processes and controls with corporate standards (incl. SOX where applicable).
• Coach local finance teams to improve close quality and timing.
