Siddiqi & Co in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Controller for a high-growth, multi-entity group. The role is on-site in Dubai and requires a qualified accountant with 10+ years in accounting, UAE experience, and strong US GAAP or IFRS reporting.

Responsibilities include owning month-end close, reviewing reconciliations and journals, PPA/earn-outs, leading audits, and raising standards to group levels while developing local finance teams.

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with strong US GAAP or IFRS reporting experience.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting or controllership experience; UAE experience preferred.
• Big4 background is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end close and reporting across one or more entities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and key journals, and explain results against budget and forecast.
• Support purchase price allocation, earn-out tracking and technical accounting.
• Lead statutory and group audits as the auditors' main contact.
• Bring local processes and controls up to group standards, including SOX where relevant.
• Develop local finance teams to close faster and more accurately.
