Job summary

SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAU L.L.C in Dubai is seeking a CMM Inspector to conduct first article, in-process and final inspections against blueprints and job travelers. You will perform dimensional checks with precision equipment and CMMs, ensuring quality and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on CMM inspection experience in manufacturing, proficient with Zeiss and Hexagon CMMs and DCC controllers, and a strong GD&T background to support

Qualifications

• Proficiency operating and programming Zeiss and Hexagon CMMs with common DCC controllers.
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles and application in inspection.

Job description

• Complete first article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspection of parts and assemblies against blueprints, engineering drawings and job travelers.


• Dimensional inspection using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMM and Faro Arm.


• Perform receiving inspection on all goods and services, verifying quality and receiving codes are met.


• Segregate and report all non-conforming material and parts for prompt corrective action.


• Complete data entry, prepare reports and issue findings using operating software and Microsoft Office applications.


• Maintain current calibration status on all equipment as required and utilize Gage Trak to monitor calibration status.


• Coordinate on-site and off-site calibration activities, as well as perform calibration of instruments in-house.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.


• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a CMM Inspector in a manufacturing environment.


• Proficiency in operating and programming various CMM platforms (e.g., Zeiss, Hexagon) with common DCC controllers.


• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and their application in inspection.
