One-QC Inspector

Job summary

Sundus is seeking a One-QC Inspector in the Abu Dhabi/Dubai area to conduct first article, in-process and final inspections against blueprints and travelers. The role requires 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with expertise in CMM, Faro Arm, and calibration management.

The ideal candidate will perform dimensional inspections, manage non-conforming material reports, and document findings using MS Office and specialized software.

Qualifications

• Complete first article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspection against blueprints and travelers.
• Perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring equipment.
• Carry out receiving inspection and verify quality codes.
• Report non-conforming material for corrective action.
• Document data and generate reports with software and Office tools.
• Maintain calibration status and coordinate calibration activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete first article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspection of parts and assemblies against blueprints, engineering drawings and job travelers.
• Dimensional inspection using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMM and Faro Arm.
• Perform receiving inspection on all goods and services, verifying quality and receiving codes are met.
• Segregate and report all non-conforming material and parts for prompt corrective action.
• Complete data entry, prepare reports and issue findings using operating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Maintain current calibration status on all equipment as required and utilize Gage Trak to monitor calibration status.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site calibration activities, as well as perform calibration of instruments in-house.
