Job summary

EDGE, headquartered in the UAE, is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector CMM to perform dimensional inspection of components and tooling using CMMs, portable measuring equipment and conventional methods. Responsibilities include validating CMM programs, maintaining traceability, and ensuring calibration and compliance with customer specifications and GD&T requirements.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required, with experience in CMM software such as

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, customer specifications, and applicable quality standards.
• Validate CMM programs, maintain measurement traceability, support root cause investigations, and ensure calibration of inspection equipment.
• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, and Faro Arm to verify dimensions to drawings.
• Perform First Article, Receiving, In-Process, and Final inspections of components and assemblies.
• Interpret GD&T and ASME Y14.5 requirements and ensure measurement accuracy and repeatability.
