Job summary

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will conduct comprehensive inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

You will prepare precise reports and supervise installation teams to uphold quality and safety on site. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in mechanical inspection, strong knowledge of codes, and proficiency with CAD and inspection software.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, QA, construction supervision, or related field.
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems and UAE construction codes and international standards.
Proficiency in technical documentation, blueprint reading, and CAD software.
Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic preferred.
Proficiency with inspection software and data management tools.

Responsibilities

Inspect mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural) for UAE and international standards.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions with evidence.
Supervise contractors and installation teams to ensure quality and schedule.
Verify system functionality through testing and commissioning with precise documentation.
Maintain organized records for audits and regulatory compliance.
Provide guidance to junior inspectors and site personnel.
