Job summary

LT FILMS INDUSTRIES LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead all electrical engineering activities across construction, installation, commissioning and ongoing operations of the BOPP plant. You will coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant execution.

Requires 10+ years in industrial manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership; strong expertise in power systems, drawings, HT/LT, and maintenance strategies;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional certifications in Electrical Engineering or Project/Maintenance management are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in industrial manufacturing or process industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience with plant construction, electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Experience in BOPP, BOPET, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities during plant construction, installation, commissioning and operations.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, specs, cable schedules and vendor documents.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and energization of electrical systems and power distribution.
• Coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
• Review submissions, evaluate vendors, and support procurement to ensure compliance with specs.
• Oversee HT/LT systems, transformers and substations for reliable power distribution.
• Develop preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance strategies to maximize reliability.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and electrical codes.
• Manage budgets, contractors, manpower, maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory.
• Prepare engineering reports, maintenance docs, SOPs and as-built drawings.
