Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY SYSTEMS LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is hiring an Electrical Site Manager to lead all on-site activities for project delivery. You will manage startup, construction, erection, testing and commissioning in line with contract specs, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical power, electronics & communication, 8–10 years of project experience, and strong leadership and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical power, electronics & communication.
• 8–10 years of project experience in related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English.

Responsibilities

• Plan on-site activities with project manager and allocate local resources, equipment and milestones.
• Coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, safety, and site organization.
• Lead on-site activities from area handover to completion, ensuring startup, construction, erection, testing and commissioning meet specs, schedule and safety.
• Act as project representative, maintaining relationships with customers and local authorities, banks and suppliers.
