Job summary

Mira Construction in Dubai is seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join our on-site team. You will be responsible for monitoring project budgets, expenditures, commitments, variations, forecasting and overall cost performance within a demanding construction environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on cost control experience in construction, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, procurement and site engineers to keep costs under control.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cost Control Engineer in construction
• Hands-on with budgets, forecasting, variations and cost reporting
• UAE construction experience preferred
• Willing to work on-site in Dubai

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs from start to finish
• Prepare budgets, cost plans, forecasts, and cost reports
• Track expenditures against budgets and identify variances
• Maintain cost codes and allocate costs accurately
• Prepare EAC and cost-to-complete forecasts
• Support cash-flow forecasting and expenditure planning
