Job summary

United East Projects International Employment LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Chinese Translator for full-time on-site work. You will bridge communication between Chinese-speaking clients and site teams, translating instructions and discussions across Chinese, English and Hindi to keep operations running smoothly.

You will support safety briefings, site meetings and daily activities, ensuring accurate, confidential translations and clear understanding for workers and clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chinese, English and Hindi is mandatory.
• Experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter, preferably on-site.
• Strong verbal communication and interpretation skills.
• Ability to translate technical/site-related instructions accurately.
• Comfortable working full-time at a project site.

Responsibilities

• Act as a communication bridge between the Chinese-speaking client/team and site workers.
• Translate verbal instructions, discussions and site-related information accurately between Chinese, English and Hindi.
• Communicate client requirements and instructions clearly to workers and ensure proper understanding.
• Assist workers in communicating their queries, concerns and requirements to the client/site management.
• Support communication during site meetings, toolbox talks, briefings and daily work activities.
• Translate safety instructions, work procedures and other site-related communications when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and workers to ensure smooth day-to-day communication at site.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while dealing with clients and employees.
• Provide on-site translation support whenever required.
