Job summary

Deliveroo UAE is seeking an Operations Associate to drive operational excellence in our on-demand grocery network. You will work hands-on to boost picker performance and uphold high service standards for our grocery experience.

The role requires significant field experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with mobile/tablet apps plus basic hardware troubleshooting. A UAE driving licence and own car are required for this field-based position.

Qualifications

Significant experience (12 years) in grocery retail or delivery operations.
Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement practical solutions on-site.
Familiarity with mobile/tablet applications and a strong ability to troubleshoot basic hardware issues.
A UAE driving licence and access to your own car are required for this field-based role.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to train staff and collaborate with diverse store teams.

Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring: regularly assess site performance using key metrics to identify accuracy issues.
On-Site Training: train pickers on SOPs focusing on order prioritisation and customer-first execution.
Root Cause Analysis: investigate dips, document findings and implement corrective actions.
Hardware & Tech Support: check store tablets and printers, troubleshoot issues to keep operations running.
Strategic Action Plans: create site-specific improvement plans with partner store managers.
