Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking an entry-level Emergency Response Technician for oil spill incidents in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on deploying containment, supporting Hazmat response, and carrying out pollution-control tasks under qualified supervision.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, pre-operational inspections, and following strict SOPs to protect personnel and the environment during spills and emergencies.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in crisis response, emergency services, environmental response or related field.
• Exposure to oil and gas, industrial emergency response or pollution-control activities is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to follow SOPs, supervisor instructions and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement operational instructions for Oil Spill and Hazmat response plans.
• Support rapid mobilization during pollution incidents and environmental emergencies.
• Deploy containment and recovery equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with positioning containment gear at affected locations.
• Operate oil dispersant spraying equipment when instructed.
• Handle approved spill response chemicals in accordance with procedures.
