Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a Fire Training Officer - Emergency Response in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on emergency response leadership, industrial firefighting, rescue operations, and professional fire‑service training across offshore and island facilities.

The successful candidate will supervise emergency personnel, manage training activities, and maintain readiness for major incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
• Watch Commander Level certification or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Fire Service Instructor certification or an equivalent professional credential.
• Between 5 and 6 years of experience in firefighting, fire protection, and emergency‑response operations within the oil industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond on a 24‑hour basis to fires, hydrocarbon releases, toxic‑gas incidents, chemical spills, rescue situations, and medical emergencies.
• Assume the role of incident commander during the initial phase of an emergency until relieved by a more senior fire officer.
• Lead and supervise firefighting personnel during fire suppression, rescue, spill control, and gas‑release response.
• Coordinate auxiliary fire teams and other emergency‑response personnel when mobilised.
• Protect personnel, assets, and the environment from emergency escalation.
• Establish incident‑control zones and ensure safe access and coordination.
• Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools for competency development.
• Deliver professional emergency‑response training to Fire Service personnel at different competency levels.
