Qualifications

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Sales Coordinator – Oil & Gas Trading to support sales, sourcing and commercial operations in UAE.

This opportunity is ideal for an Engineering graduate with 3–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas trading, industrial equipment trading or a related technical-commercial environment.

The successful candidate will support the complete quotation and order process, from receiving customer RFQs and understanding technical requirements through supplier sourcing, costing, quotation preparation, customer follow-up and order coordination.

A key requirement for this position is proven experience in vendor registration and prequalification, particularly with ADNOC, EPC contractors or major Oil & Gas customers.

About the Role

The Sales Coordinator will act as a key link between customers, suppliers and the internal sales, procurement, finance and logistics teams.

You will manage customer enquiries and RFQs, identify suitable products and suppliers, obtain and compare supplier quotations, prepare accurate costings and sales quotations, negotiate commercial terms and coordinate orders through to delivery.

The role also includes supporting vendor registration, supplier prequalification and commercial documentation, making it particularly suitable for an engineer who has developed strong commercial and coordination skills within the Oil & Gas trading sector.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Receive and carefully review customer RFQs, technical specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and commercial conditions.
  
• Understand the customer’s requirements and identify the appropriate products, materials, manufacturers, or suppliers.
  
• Source oilfield and industrial products from local and international manufacturers and suppliers.
  
• Request and obtain competitive supplier quotations.
  
• Compare supplier offers based on price, technical compliance, delivery schedule, country of origin, warranty, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
  
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial arrangements with suppliers.
  
• Prepare detailed costing sheets, price comparisons, margin calculations, and sales quotations.
  
• Carry out estimation based on customer specifications and technical requirements.
  
• Ensure that quotations are accurate, commercially competitive, and submitted within the required deadline.
  
• Follow up with customers regarding submitted quotations, technical clarifications, order status, and delivery schedules.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, procurement, finance, and internal departments to ensure that orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.
  
• Maintain accurate supplier and customer databases, price records, quotation histories, and order information.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering , preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
  
• 3–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas trading, industrial equipment trading or a closely related technical-commercial environment.
  
• Proven experience in sales coordination, RFQ management, sourcing, costing, estimation and quotation preparation .
  
• Proven experience in vendor registration and prequalification , preferably with ADNOC, EPC contractors or major Oil & Gas customers.
  
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas products such as valves, piping, fittings, flanges, instrumentation, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment or rotating equipment .
  
• Ability to understand technical datasheets, specifications, material standards and customer requirements.
  
• Experience dealing with local and international suppliers and negotiating commercial terms.
  
• Knowledge of Incoterms, international procurement, shipping and commercial documentation .
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP systems .
  
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
