Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support and execute engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, from concept to handover. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, safety, quality, and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in engineering and at least 6 years of oil and gas project experience, with strong vendor and contractor management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years in project engineering for oil and gas.
• Strong coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to monitor contractor performance and deliverables.
• Identify engineering and execution risks proactively.
• Ensure technical compliance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with project, engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases from concept to commissioning and handover.
• Contribute to SOR and project execution strategies.
• Assist in tender documents and evaluations of consultants, PMC, and EPC contractors.
• Review contractor deliverables and construction methods for compliance.
• Monitor progress of engineering, procurement, and construction with corrective actions.
• Support risk analysis, PHSER, and ATR reviews; ensure safety/quality compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and progress reports for management.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with contractors and operations.
• Facilitate handover to Operations and support start-up activities.
