Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Operations Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise safe and efficient oil and gas production, processing, and exports. You will ensure water/CO2 injection and surface facilities operate reliably while complying with HSE standards.

The role involves collaborating with technical centers, planning teams, and field staff to optimize performance, manage alarms, and lead 5-year shutdown plans, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience, including at least 4 years in oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Review operating data to meet planned production targets.
• Coordinate alarm management and field bottleneck analyses with stakeholders.
• Plan and supervise production/injection adjustments and data integrity in PIES.
• Lead shutdown planning and field capacity testing to optimize performance.
• Identify root causes of critical equipment failures and drive corrective actions.
