Job summary

Ghobash Group's Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC seeks a seasoned Material Controller to manage material movements, verify incoming materials, and maintain precise inventory records within our Oil & Gas collaboration network in the UAE.

The role requires 5–8 years in material control or related fields, with strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle/Maximo). Will coordinate across procurement, warehouse, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in material control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain activities within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or EPC industry.
• Experience on construction, commissioning, maintenance, shutdown, or turnaround projects preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all material movements (receiving, storing, issuing, transferring, returning).
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, packing lists, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure ERP transactions are updated.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials per company procedures and vendor recommendations.
• Maintain material traceability and ensure certificates and inspection records are properly controlled.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and audits for accuracy.
• Investigate and report material discrepancies, shortages, damages, and non-conformances.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, construction, and maintenance teams for timely material availability.
• Generate inventory, material status, and stock movement reports for management review.
• Support project material tracking from receipt through final installation and handover.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, quality requirements, and material management procedures.
