Job summary

ADNOC is seeking an experienced workshop leader to oversee maintenance of diving equipment at offshore facilities in Abu Dhabi. You will plan, supervise, and optimize the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment while ensuring safety, quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).
• At least 10 years hands-on experience in maintenance of diving equipment, with 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Five years offshore experience.
• Experience with diving equipment (ROV, Umbilicals, LARS, etc.).
• Valid UAE driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preparation, storage and dispatch of materials and equipment to ensure timely operations.
• Lead the workshop team in maintenance activities with safety and operational excellence.
• Review and implement improvements to workshop processes for efficiency.
• Oversee HSE policy implementation within the workshop.
• Develop and execute maintenance planning strategies and schedules.
• Supervise inspection and testing of equipment for quality and reliability.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory for availability and cost-control.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and specifications.
• Lead lean practices (5S) to improve workshop operations.
• Guide the team in troubleshooting technical challenges and innovation.
• Promote continuous improvement within the workshop team.
