Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team seeks a Specialist Process Engineer for a major ADNOC Offshore project. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will oversee process engineering deliverables, review PFDs/P&IDs, perform simulations, and ensure technical integrity across EPC contractor workstreams.

You will coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control and other disciplines, support safety reviews, and assist during construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Extensive Process Engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience in offshore Oil & Gas EPC / PMC projects.
• Proven experience covering FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Significant experience in process design and technical review of offshore production facilities.
• ADNOC Offshore project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS or PRO-II.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical expertise for process engineering and design activities.
• Review EPC Contractor process engineering work and deliverables.
• Validate key process deliverables: Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, heat balances, datasheets, calculations, sizing.
• Perform or review process simulations for offshore facilities.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP and safety reviews.
• Support construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Provide guidance to Process Engineers and team members.
