Job summary

Wood is recruiting a PMC Material Management Specialist to support a major ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is based on an offshore rotation (6/3) and will oversee materials management across offshore construction, ensuring timely availability, handling, storage and movement of materials to support safe and efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of offshore/onshore Oil & Gas experience, with at least 5 years in GCC.
• PMC materials management leadership experience preferred.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Experience leading a team of specialists and engineers.
• Working knowledge of electrical discipline codes and offshore/onshore practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials management across offshore construction operations to ensure timely availability, control, storage and movement of materials.
• Coordinate with procurement, expediting, logistics, construction and project controls to align material readiness with offshore schedules.
• Review and endorse contractor deliverables related to materials management including plans and load-out schedules.
• Monitor offshore material status, inventory, shortages, and forecasts, identifying risks with mitigations.
• Interface with EPC contractors, logistics providers, vessel operators and client representatives on materials issues.
• Provide guidance to offshore materials coordinators and contractor personnel to ensure coordination and accountability.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices in offshore materials management and logistics.
