Job summary
Star Services LLC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Technician for offshore maintenance. The role covers calibration and overhauling of control valves, PLC and DCS, and field instruments with a minimum of five years in oil and gas. Contract hire with a six‑month probation.
Offshore schedule is 06:30 to 18:30, seven days a week. Benefits include health insurance, round-trip air tickets, and food and single-status accommodation as per policy, plus 30
Qualifications
- Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience for field instruments and control systems in oil and gas.
- Experience with calibration and overhauling of control valves and related instruments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct calibration and overhauling work for control valves and field instruments.
- Attend to breakdowns and perform corrective actions.
- Carry out preventive maintenance at all plant locations.
- Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, hydraulic control and other controllers.
- Assist in equipment start-up and commissioning after maintenance.
- Check instrument materials for emergency warehouse stock.
- Support startup and commissioning to ensure smooth recommencement.
